My parents are gone on a trip and they left me at home alone. Party time ! Everyone's invited and it will be crazy ! My parents are phoning at 8 and checking on me, that means lies are going to be bouncing off the walls. I am spending the night getting everything ready for the party, i look at the clock and it is 7:58. my parents will be calling me any minute. The phone rings and i calmly answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hi Allie, how is everything at home?" my mom asked.
"Oh great. How is your trip?" I replied as calmly as i could.
" That's good. It is good. Nice to be away. What are your plans for the night?" My mom asked.
"Not much. Just going to watch a few movies and go in the hot tub" I answered slowly.
"Okay. Have fun. We will call you later tomorrow !" My mom said nicely
" Okay, bye!" I replied excitedly. Finally I could relax a bit . Hopefully i was awake the next morning when they phoned. I heard my phone go off in the kitchen and walked towards it to read the message. It was from Lauren saying she could come tonight and that she was so excited. She was going to be here in 15 minutes so we could get ready before everyone got here at 11.
5 hours later
" Hey!" I yelled loudly to my friend Nicole as she walked in the door of my loud, full house. I had only invited a few people but there were so many people here now ! The music was playing loudly out of the stereo and people were shouting and throwing things across the house. This was not what I had imagained it to be like. It was 1:30 in the morning and i am ready to go to sleep. My parents are going to be furious if they find out i had this party ! I wanted everyone out now. I pushed my way through people towards the stereo and shut off the music. People were groaning and yelling things but I ignored them and started to yell.
" Everyone, go home now !" I yelled loudly so everyone could hear.
There were a few angry faces in the crowd as they shuffled outside to their vehicles, but most people understood. A few of my friends were going to stay the night after so they stayed behind.
"The house is trashed !" Johanna excalimed.
"I know it is. We are going to have to clean it up in the morning. I just want to go to sleep now." I replied while yawning.
It was 3:00 in the morning before we all got to go to bed. We were so exhausted and fell asleep instantly.
We woke up in the morning and quickly got ready. We started to clean up the house and managed to get it done in an hour, right as my parents phoned. They said they were coming home early. They would be home at 4 this afternoon. Perfect timing !

NEVER going back
“I knew you’d come,”He sighed. He didn’t sound happy to see me.
"How'd you know I would come? "I asked. He didn't reply. He just stared at the ground. Then he started talking.
"Your Mother? Yes her. She told me everything about you. She said to meet you here. I didn't know what you looked like so she gave me this picture. She wants me to tell you that she loves you and she's is truly sorry for what she did to you."I was speechless. It felt like I had a big ball stuck in my throat.
"Sorry for what she did?"I asked. "She left me at a parking lot in London on my own! I was only 11 and I didn't know what to do! That's when this weird looking stranger picked me up and gave me a ride to her house! I was happy with her and now my mother wants me back? I'm not going back to her. I'd rather be homeless!"
He looked at me. I saw the anger in his eyes.
"I told you I loved you. You don't have to stay with your mother. I can let you stay with me. I want to do what's best for you,"He replied.
"What a relief!"I thought, without saying a word to him. "Thanks so much dad! Yes of course I want to live with you! But I want to go back to London one more time and thank Nicole for having me. I want to invite her over. She let me stay with her for 3 whole years! Me! A stranger!"
This was the first time I saw my own dad. He told me all about him! He told me that he was really sad when him and my mother Lauren got into a fight. He moved out. He said he lives with his girlfriend Allie. They had a gigantic house. He gave me a ride in his Audi and when we got to his house Allie ran out the door!
She said,"Heeeeeeeeeeey Jo! How are you? Your father told me all about you! You are pretty tall for a 14 year old! It's really nice to meet you!"Then she smiled at me. I kept quiet because I was too scared to say something wrong. When we unpacked my bags and walked in the front door, I saw two little dogs in a cage. They were so cute! Allie showed me around the house and helped me put all my clothes , that Nicole bought me , in my closet.
She said,"If you need help with anything else just call me! I'll be downstairs making supper!" She smiled at me again.
" Wow she seems really nice and I really like her!" I thought. " I wonder how good of a cook she is?"
"Jooo! Let's go! We're eating!"Dad yelled after 20 minutes.
"Coming dad!"I shouted. When I got downstairs, all I saw was a huge table packet with food! It smelled heavenly. Allie told me to sit so we could start eating. There were mashed potatoes, meatballs, rice, a whole bunch of drinks and a big cake. Everything a teenager could ask for!
"Help yourself,"She said." We don't want to let you starve! "She looked at me and laughed. She was so friendly....on the first day. The next few days flew by and I went to my new school. Everything was fine until I came home one day and I saw all my bags packed and ready to go. I was clueless!
I wondered,"What's going on? Am I moving out? Where am I going to stay?!" I was shocked when I went upstairs and saw my room. Gone,everything was gone. My closet was empty and my desk spotless. Everything was clean. I ran downstairs to see if I could find Allie or Dad. That's when i heard his voice behind me.
"Jo,look. Allie and me have decided that you can no longer live with us. We are just too busy and you're always alone. We never have time for you. We thought you could leave Canada and move back to London. It might be better for you. All your friends are there and you were happy with Nicole, weren't you?"he asked. I couldn't believe what he just said. I mean of course I was happy with Nicole. but I thought my dad and me could actually spend the rest of our life's together.
"Fine dad, I'll go. But don't expect me to come back to you. I'll call Nicole right now!!!"I yelled!
He whispered," I already called her. We booked you a flight to London a week ago. She'll be expecting you. When we drop you off at the airport..."
"No! No you won't drop me off at the airport!"I cut him off,"I don't want a ride from you. I can call someone else!" So I called my friend Chass and she gave me a ride to the airport. We hugged one more last time and then it was time to say goodbye. The Flight was exciting. Even though I hated flying, it felt nice going 'home' again. When I arrived in London I saw Nicole standing there, waiting for me. I saw the joy in her eyes!
"I knew you'd come back to me! I just knew it! I missed you so much! Tell me everything that happened! Did you go to school and find new friends? And how was the weather? You've only been gone for a month but it seemed way longer!"Nicole screamed and hugged me! I didn't know what to say. I was too tired to talk. Nicole and I went back to her house, had a hot chocolate and then finally went to bed. The next morning I woke up and I was so happy to be 'home' again. After I got dressed and had breakfast I told Nicole everything. She was so curious! Sometimes she acted like a 4-year old but I liked that about her.
When I was talking to her, I looked her in the eyes and whispered,"This is where I'm supposed to be. With you. I can go visit my dad sometime but I am NEVER going back!"

Mark smashed open the cover of the box with a rock. He dropped the rock and took the knife from his pocket. Looking over all the wires he saw one marked, SECURITY MONITORS. He jammed the knife into the socket where the cord was and quickly let go of the knife. He saw short electric currents go around the knife.
''Bingo!'' Said Mark happily, he then looked over at Dan Who was motioning towards the fence. Mark looked around for a cord to shut off the fence,

The mystery package
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and I was all alone at home. My parents went to town to get groceries and I was left at home to clean up. I was just starting to do the dishes when I heard someone knock on the door. I walked to the door and opened it.
"Hello," I said. It was the mailman. He had a large package in his hands.
"For Jessica Jones," he replied. I took the package and signed a few papers for him. I was in a rush because I really wanted to open it because it was for me. I went inside and put it on the table. The package said, "To Jessica Jones" and it had a sticker saying, "Fragile, Do not drop!" I decided to open it because it was for me.
I grabbed the biggest knife and i was just about to open but just as I started to open it my parents drove into the drive way. I grabbed the large box and ran up to my room and slid it under my bed. I rushed down the stairs and took the knife off the table and put it back. As I shut the drawer my parents walked in.
"Hello? Jessica where are you?" I walked to the door and said. "I'm right here"
My mom and Dad had bags full of food, there was milk and eggs, also some crackers. I helped my mom and dad put away all the groceries. There was a lot of food to put away but it was all good food.
"What are we having for supper?" I asked. My mom said,"Well I think sandwiches and juice." My tummy started to ache because I was so hungry. I went up to my room while supper was being made. I took the box from under my bed and I took a pair of scissors off my desk and started to open the package. I cut the tape off the top and opened it up. There was lots if bubble wrap on the top. I ripped all of it off and there was another box covered in colorful wrapping paper.
"What?" I said. I pulled the colourful box out and sat it on the floor beside the other box. I threw the empty box away and started to rip open the colourful box. I started to open it and there I saw some more colourful paper. I tore the other paper off and then I started to rip off the other paper.

Tim's mom and dad thought they should go on a trip. They said,
"Tim we are going on a trip and you can not come you will be staying at home for a week by yourself."

Tim was thinking what he should do well like most high school kids he thought he should throw a big party with the whole school there. So that night the whole school was there. It was going to be the best party of the year. When every one left at about 4am it was a mess. Tim had no clue what he was going to do. He had to clean everything up before his mom and dad got home. He went to bed. When he got up it was already 1:30 so he started to clean. It was almost 4 and the house was still a mess. At 4:30 his parents walked in to the big mess.
His mother screamed!

Andreas was sitting in his desk in history class his professor was lecturing the class on Napoleon's greatest achievements, but Andreas wasn't listening. he was anxiously tapping his foot watching the seconds slowly tick away on the clock.
"Come on, come on just a minute and a half till the end of the day," he whispered to himself. Andreas finally had his chance at throwing a party. His family has a history of throwing the best parties and Andreas wasn't going to let that reputation end with him. The bell finally rang and Andreas raced out of the room and to the main gate.
"PARTY AT MY HOUSE!!!" Yelled Andreas. everyone cheered because they have heard from their parents that Andreas's father had the best parties.
Andreas made it to his just before his parents were about to leave
"Now you be good honey," said his mother, "and no friends over hear and bed by a decent time, okay."
"Okay mom good-bye." Replied Andreas
"Bye sweetie," said his mother while she hopped into the taxi with Andreas's father. Andreas waved good-bye as the taxi drove away.
"And now the party begins," said Andreas with a large grin on his face.

My parents left town for the weekend!They finally let me stay home by myself.I am 15 years old and they just let me stay home now!
They said, "somebody would have to come stay overnight because i wasn't responsible enough to stay home alone."
"I am so responsible! Why do you treat me like a child all the time,"I screamed.
After like three hours of fighting with them they finally gave in.I was so excited. I knew the perfect thing to do when they were gone and it was to have a huge party.If there was a mess in the house i could just clean it up before my parents got home.
When my parents left i started to call my 2 best friends Lauren and Johanna.I told them to call everyone they knew and to tell them that there was a party at my house!
Johanna and Lauren came early to help me set up for the party.My parents left me with 100 dollars for food for myself, but we had lots of food in the house so we spent it on the party.

ALONE AT LAST! YAAY. Omg I forgot to tell Trish the parents are out of the house for the whole weekend ! I HAVE to tell her. " TRISH!" i yelled i little, " I can not believe I Forgot to tell YOU!"

There was a knock at my door and when i went to open it, it bursted open and Riley and everyone else ran in. I went upstairs after them, and seen Riley pulling out some captain Morgan and whatever alcohol he could buy with 5000$ that he had saved up from tips that he got, from working as a cook at T's. He had all sorts of achlcohol varying from beer to a kind of vodka with gold shavings in it. I decided to have some too because what a waste it would be, and I would be the only one that wasnt drinking. After a few drinks Riley and I went to go downstairs, but there was a knock on the door. I left Riley at the top of the stairs and went to answer the door, it was more people coming for the party, when i was talking to Joe, Derrick and Ricky i heard a loud" THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP" I ran to see what it was. It turned out Riley drank a little too much and had fell down the stairs. I ran down to help him up but. I aksed him if he was alright but all he said was" That was fun, can we do that again?" I helped him up and we went back up stairs to see Ricky and Derrick fist fighting in the porch. I ran over to stop them but one good punch from Ricky and Derrick was out.

I left Riley at the top of the stairs and went to answer the door, it was more people coming for the party, when i was talking to Joe, Derrick and Ricky i heard a loud" THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP" I ran to see what it was. It turned out Riley drank a little too much and had fell down the stairs. I ran down to help him up but. I aksed him if he was alright but all he said was" That was fun, can we do that again?" I helped him up and we went back up stairs to see Ricky and Derrick fist fighting in the porch. I ran over to stop them but one good punch from Ricky and Derrick was out.
Alone At Last
It was hot sunny morning when I woke up. I went to the kitchen and poured myself a nice glass of OJ when I saw a note.
The note read, " We are gone to Florida for 6 days. We are very sorry for not telling you but it was a last minute indecent. Love Mom."
"Alone at Last." I yelled out.
I started wondering what I should do then it popped in my head that I should throw a party. I started to phone some of my friends like Drake, Tristan, Rhys and a whole bunch more people. Then I phoned up Riley the clown to come to my party. I also phoned Little Ceasers Pizza to bring me some pizza at 8:00.
It seemed like a whole week before 8:00 came, but it finally came and people started to pour into my house like wild animals.
"Where is Riley the clown," asked a girl.
"Ya, we came for Riley the clown," another person chirped in.
I started freaking out because Riley the clown wasn't here yet. But just as people started to leave Riley the clown showed up and punched a guy in the face. Everybody stared at Riley and then started to cheer. Riley was break dancing on the floor when the pizza guy showed up with the pizza. He was 10 minutes late but I really didn't care.
All of a sudden Riley ran to the door and yelled at the top of his lungs "Your ten minutes late so the pizza's free." Riley grabbed the pizza then said "Now get out this house."
"The party has officially started," one guy yelled.
Everybody started to party like crazy when I got a text message. The text message read " Do to the fact that the flights got cancelled we will be hom in 15 minutes. Love Mom.
"Oh my gosh" I yelled, "Everybody has got to leave this instance."
"But we don't want to go home," one guy yelled.
Riley all of a sudden yelled out "everybody has to clan up this house and leave on the count of ten or else I will beat you guys up."
10 minutes later the house was tidy and spotless. So I decided I would go to bed a bit earlier.
I woke up at about 8:00 the next morning to see Riley sitting on a chair in my room. "I did you a favor now you owe me a favor.

Finally I Have Freedom !!
My parents decided they have to go to a social this weekend so they said i could stay home alone for two nights becuase they trust me.
"Are you sure we can leave you for two nights and you will be fine ?" said my parents a a few hours ago.
"Yes i will be fine trust me ", I told them 5 times.
My dad said one last time, "Don't throw a party or anything!"
"I wont!!" I said
The minute they left i called just a few of my friends to come over for a sleepover tonight and i knew we wouldn't do anything stupid. They all came over around supper and we deicided to order a pizza. I said to my friends, "Don't spill on the carpet or anything"
"We wont Lauren!" squealed Nicole.
"Yeah you can count on us !" exclaimed Allie"
Johanna said in a hiper voice, "Can we invite just a few guys over ?
"Maybe just a few " I said.
We invited 4 guys over to watch movies for a few hours then the guys had to leave. The doorbell rang and tons of guys and girls just kept walking in the door shoving last everyone.
"You can't come ! sorry " I said to the people piling in but nobody listened.
It was turning out to be a really fun night but the house was getting really messy !
I got a phone call from my mom at 11:00 from my parents asking what i was doing and i told them i had just a few friends over even though the whole 8th and 9th grade were over.
"We will be coming back early tomorrow morning because the social got canceled " said my mother.
As soon as I got off the phone i told everybody they were coming home but everybody just stood there.

The box came in the mail and I wasn't sure I wanted to open it.... "What's in the box?" Samantha asked.
"It may be the money we've been waiting for." I whisper.
Samantha suddenly shrieked,"Jump out the window!!" and I bolted through, glass ripping apart my skin. Samantha jumped out the window as the box exploded.
"What the **** was that?" I cursed.
"They're after us." she replies. I take off and she follows. We are just about to turn around the corner when a car speeds by and a rebel pulls out a gun.
"Welcome," He yells,"to MY neighborhood!" He pulls the trigger and blasts holes all around us and turns the corner. Samantha and i look at each other and with a nod of agreement, pull out our weapons.
"Get ready," I say," I hear them coming around the corner for a second run." The car rounds the corner putting on the hand brake and skids. The gunner is already shooting bullets crazily. Sam and I shoot our guns and take out the driver. The car rammed into a pole and since his head was still out the window, The gunner broke his neck. Blood poured out of his mouth then the other two jump out of the car. They already started shooting .
"We got to run," I squeal,"or we'll be killed." We run around the corner when to other cars burst around the corner. Sam bolts ahead of me when I get shot. My vision gets blurry and the last thing I see is Sam being exploded by an RPG-7.

The Mysterious Box
I was sitting in my living room when I noticed a van pull up in front of my house. It was the Purolator van. The mail man slid open the door and jumped out holding a large package in his arms. He struggled to bring it to the door, it looked really heavy!
"Here's the package you ordered," grunted the man when he reached the door.
"I never ordered anything," I replied.
"Well I'm not keeping it" he said and dropped it on the front step. A muted growl was heard through the tightly wrapped box. The mail man jumped, ran back to his van and sped away.
"I can't just leave this here," I thought to myself,"I should probably take it inside." I picked up the box with great difficulty and slowly carried it inside. "Should I open it?" I thought. I made a quick decision and decided to open it. Grabbing scissors I cut through the cardboard and peeled it off. Under the cardboard was metal box that was latched shut. EXTREME DANGER was written on the side off the box in capital letters. I slowly undid the latch and peered inside. A huge scaled animal leaped at the opening and tried to force its way out! As quick as I could I shut the lid and sat on the box. "I have to get rid of this thing," I thought. Then an idea flashed in my head. I never really liked my neighbors and right now they were away on vacation. It was a perfect situation! I dragged the box outside and brought it over to my neighbors house. After I pried open a basement window I stuffed the box inside. I smiled thinking of the look on my neighbors faces when they returned from their trip.

On friday evening I got a knock on the door and it was Rhys. five minutes later there was a clown.
He said" Can I come to your party"
" no" I replied
Ten minutes later everyone starts coming through the door. Everyone who came brought there own drinks. Darren was trying to start fights he couldn't win. He challenge Ricky to a fight. Ricky just laid Darren out and he was out in one punch.
Joe got really crazy, so I kicked him out of my house. He ran through the window.
"Hey you idiot, get out before I call the cops." Drake shouted.
Joe ran out the door and I never seen him again.
Austin grabbed a drink, He said," Thanks for the drink."
"Security, Security, Security! Get this crazy guy out of here," replied Mike.
Everyone was having a good time until I got a knock on the door, I went to the door and my parents were standing there.
"I thought you guys were in Mexico,"
" We were then we got a phone call from the police saying that your son was having a party at our house. So we had to come back. Do you know how much trouble you are in young man"? asked mother.
" We wanted to have a great time in Mexico," said my Father
You know we do have insurance on this house so why don't we go back to Mexico, and besides Back in my day we always had a party," Said my father.
My dad got back in the car and waited for my mother to get back in the car
My mom and dad left to Mexico. so my parents said i could throw a big party.
I threw the biggest party of all time. everyone had a great time.

New Recruit
"I knew you'd come," he sighed. He didn't sound happy to see me. I wasn't sure if i wanted to see him either. "Hello to you too," I said sarcastically. I looked around, Tom had a very nice house.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure," I told him. We walked down the hallway. He started nervously talking as we walked.
"Are you sure? When you join the Marines, they don't let you just leave! Not to mention you will be the first woman to join!"
"Yes I'm sure! I'll be fine, and if anyone forgot to tell you, we are being invaded by an alien race, we need everyone we can get." I said.
"Fine, but be careful, I have to go now, we are at the training compound." He said. He started to walk away but then turned back and said
"Oh, and good luck" That was the last time I ever saw him. I kept on walking, eventually I reached the end of the hallway. It opened up onto a huge compound, I shielded my eyes from the sun to look. There was a main building on the left side, it was used for gun training and map skills. There were smaller buildings scattered around the North of it, they were the living quarters for new recruits. Then there was a big field where flying skills and big drills were done.I walked down the hill towards the gates. When I arrived I found a smaller man with a big walrus mustache and too large of a helmet standing in the guard booth. I said "Recruit Catelyn Harlinger reporting for training sir!" He looked up, almost wearily, and said
"You're a greenie aren't ya, walk to that big building over there," He pointed to the building I noticed earlier, "And get your equipment."
"Yes sir!" I said then I walked to the big building. There I found a long line of new recruits standing, getting their uniforms, armor suit, and other equipment. After a while I reached the booth. A bored looking man stood checking off names and handing out equipment. He looked at me and said, "Name?"
"Catelyn Harlinger sir," I reply. He hands me a big bag with all of the equipment in it. I said "Thank you sir! Then walked out. I look out at the big training compound and knew this is what I was born to do. Just as I was having a moment of self-realization, I was rocked off my feet! "Get off thr training field, rookie!" I hear a voice yell. Explosions are all around me! I sprint to the edge of the field. Soldiers are running all around. They were safe in armor suits though, and it was just a drill. But i had no armor, and even though the explosions were small, if I was close enough it could kill me. I sprint as fast as I can. Eventually I reached the end of the field, dusty and tired. "What the heck are you doing out there greenie?!" A man yelled, I looked up and he is standing there. He pressed a button on the side of his helmet and his visor lifted up. "You could have been killed!" he yelled again.
"I know, the equipment guy told me to cross here" I told him.
"Never, EVER, listen to him. He wanted to join the Marines but they said he was too small, now he tells recruits to cross over the training field"
"Oh okay" I said dumbly. Then I abrubtly walked away. "Maybe this was going to be tougher than I thought after all." I think to myself.

What happens when your parents leave for a weekend
My parents just left on a weekend long vacation, leaving me at home alone. I am really wanting to have a party, but I know that my parents wouldn't want me to have one. I decided to have my best friend Sophie over to see what she thinks about it.
Sophie lives just down the block from me so it didn't take long for her to make it to my house. Once Sophie was settled in.
I asked her," Do you think it would be a good idea to have a party since my parents are away for the weekend?"
" I think that would be a good idea, but how many people would you invite?"Sophie answered.
"I don't think I would invite that many people," I said,"maybe twenty or thirty."
Sophie replied," I think that would be a good idea."
So Sophie and I grabbed our phones and started texting some of our other friends. We texted about twenty people. All of them replied and said that they could come.
People started showing up at my house ten minutes later. I didn't think they would be coming that early but we just went along with it. There was some pop and chips down stairs that we brought up for people to have.
Within ten minutes there were over fifty people in our house. Sophie and I didn't even know half of them. Twenty minutes later another fifty or so people showed up. I didn't think I knew any of them, but we were all having a good time.
After a couple of hours things started to get crazy. People were spilling there drinks, dropping chips and there were a couple fights that broke out. From that point on Sophie and I had no control over anybody anymore.

I would let them party too! Just so they don't tell you know".
"The party will be held at January 31st at 6:30 party late or not at all".
"What Bobo the monkey and Dingo the clown wants to come to my party too?"
"Sorry but there will be a small fee for people i do not know of $500."
